The members of the managing committee and other members are highly educated, professional and leaders in their chosen fields, ranging from medicine to teaching and business. Many of the members live in USA, UK, Australia, India, Singapore, but all are dedicated and motivated to the cause of FIDA.

Dr. Smita S. Diwase, B.Sc ( Agri), M.Sc (Agri), MMS, Ph.D
Smita has done her Masters in Agricultural Meteorology from the College of Agriculture, Pune and has received her Ph. D. in Human Resource Management from the University of Pune for her research work titled “Empowerment of women in the Handicraft Sector: A study on participatory approach to development, efficacy of interventions and identification of appropriate development partners” .
She is the recipient of several scholarships and has over ten years of work experience in the field of teaching, training and research. She is a member of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics and the Indian Society for Studies in Cooperation. She is currently involved in agricultural training, consultancy and publications.
Pulak Mukherjee, BE (Production)
At present working in a multinational software company headquartered in the UK.
Sameer A Joshi,
BE (Polymer), MIE, FIV, FIPI
Sameer has completed his polymer engineering. At present he is director in a group of companies engaged in fin tubes, plastics, engineering goods and placement services. He is a chartered engineer and an, approved valuer, on panel of various banks. He holds a patent in his name. He is on the managing committees of various associations and organizations . He has authored various books and presented papers at national and international seminars.
Amolika Tikekar,
BS (Computer Sciences)
Having obtained her degree from Michigan Tech, Amolika lived and worked in the USA for 12 years before returning to India as a co-founder and Director (Operations) of Ekartha Inc., an Indo-US software development company focusing on SaaS and On Demand applications.
